The UK Friends of Abraham’s Path is a charity, formed in 2011, to help British travellers and walkers to experience the path and all it stands for both in the Middle East and in the UK.
Our mission is to educate people in the UK about the Abraham Path and to inspire them to walk and support it. We do this by:
- Generating interest in the path through educational and cultural activities
- Facilitating UK travellers wanting to walk the path
- Developing practical skills in promoting understanding between diverse groups
- Raising funds to support our work and the development of the path
Whoever travels on the Abraham Path brings meaning and purpose to the journey, whether on a personal pilgrimage to explore the story of Abraham or a trip to experience the landscape and village life of the Middle East. The UK Friends see the Abraham Path as a place of meeting and connection for people of all cultures and faiths – a place which reminds travellers of our shared humanity.
